Description
The EGIS XD Flex 2 single relay is a high-current bi-stable device for 12V and 24V DC systems that serves as an improved replacement for legacy solenoids and remote battery switches. It is wire-for-wire compatible with Blue Sea ML-Series solenoid and remote battery switch products, and can be set through dip switches to operate as a basic switched relay or as an automatic charging relay. It carries 500A continuously and up to 1500A during cranking across an 8 to 36V DC range.
Construction is sealed to IP67 and IP6K9K with high-temperature electronics, an integrated Gortex vent and forward-facing stainless steel cable-lug studs that accept 1/4-20 or M6 hardware and make landing large cables easy. The bi-stable solenoid draws just 1.3mA in the off state, and a 3-position manual override knob lets the relay be forced open or closed and locked there. A front-facing LED reports status with a remote LED replica output, and the dip switches sit under an included protective cover with label recesses. This version uses a sealed 6-position Deutsch DTM connector that is pin-for-pin compatible with legacy ML-Series bi-stable relays.
