Description
The GlobalLink 520 connects a remote Victron system, or individual Victron products, to the free VRM online portal so the installation can be monitored from anywhere in the world. Battery voltage and state of charge, power consumption, PV and generator harvest, temperatures and alerts are all visible online, with no display or separate router needed.
What sets the GlobalLink apart is its prepaid SIM: the unit ships with a 1nce data SIM carrying five years of 4G LTE-M connectivity, so there is nothing to buy or maintain to get a system online. It links to two hardwired VE.Direct products and up to ten additional Victron Smart devices over Bluetooth, and supports Ruuvi wireless sensors for temperature, humidity and pressure.
The unit is wall mountable and runs from the 8 to 70 VDC system supply. A built-in relay and two digital inputs allow basic remote signalling, and Bluetooth makes setup straightforward through the VictronConnect app.
