2,4 m (8′) FM fast fitting Glomeasy antenna with special stainless steel ferrule.
RA1288FME is the High performance 2.40 m (8’) AM/FM antenna with FME termination, designed to assure excellent performance in terms of quality, operation and design. Compared to the traditional antennas, whilst similar in shape, this antenna deeply differentiates itself due to two very important aspects:
• it has the FME termination for a very quick and more comfortable installation. Thanks to the FME termination, you will use the Glomex FME coaxial cables (code RA350), in different lengths, with a pre-installed professional, high quality and rugged FME connector that can be fitted on the antenna in a few seconds without soldering or cutting the cable;
• it has a stainless steel extremely resistant ferrule composed of two parts screwed one on the other to further facilitate the installation; Moreover, RA1288ME assure a clear transmission and reception of signals in any conditions. For its installation, RA1225FME needs a moutn with cable slot: RA107SSFME The AM/FM is a common VHF transmission mode. AM/FM bands are less prone to disturbances and interferences assuring a clear transmission and reception of signals. AM/FM antennas are often used to listen to radio stations also during navigation.
