Description
The Victron Interface 1140 is a specialist accessory that connects to an alternator's AC output, allowing a compatible VE.Bus system to measure characteristics such as ripple and frequency. Connected in the same way as an MK2 using a UTP cable, it feeds this information into the system for use by assistants during configuration.
This is a niche installation-level component used in specific alternator and charging setups. The connected VE.Bus unit must be running suitable firmware to make use of assistants. If you are specifying an Interface 1140, check the requirements of your particular system with our team.
