Mastervolt Alpha 12/130 III Alternator & Charge Regulator Multi-Groove

The Mastervolt Alpha 12/130 III multigroove is a high-output 12 volt, 130 amp marine alternator fitted with a multigroove (poly-V) pulley to suit engines that use a ribbed serpentine belt. It charges starter and service batteries quickly and completely and powers every consumer on board, and is supplied as standard with the Alpha Pro III charge regulator for a fully temperature-controlled three-stage charge.

Like every Alpha alternator it is built for powerful charging even at low engine rpm, where a standard alternator would only reach its rated output at high speed. Forced cooling from the pulley fan keeps output high in temperatures above 40 degrees, so it performs well mounted close to the engine. Combined with a Battery Mate or battery isolator it can charge two or three separate battery banks at the same time.
