Description

The Mastervolt Battery Watch is an electronic battery switch with built-in protection against overvoltage and deep discharge. Acting as a 600 gram electronic watchdog, it monitors the condition of the battery and disconnects the load before the battery is damaged, helping to extend battery life considerably. It can also be used as a main battery isolation switch.

LED lights give a clear read-out of the battery status, and the undervoltage cut-off point is set with DIP switches so the unit can be matched to the installation. It works on 12 V or 24 V systems and handles a maximum DC load of 150 A.

Construction is corrosion-proof, with aluminium heat sinks and the electronic components encased in synthetic material. The synthetic end plates carry the connection lugs, and solid bolt connections with nuts and locking rings make installation quick and secure.

What does the Battery Watch do?
It is an electronic battery watchdog that monitors the condition of the battery and protects it against overvoltage and deep discharge by disconnecting the load before damage occurs, which helps extend battery life.
Can it be used as a main battery switch?
Yes. As well as monitoring and protecting the battery, the Battery Watch can be used as a main battery isolation switch.
What voltages and load does it handle?
It works on 12 V or 24 V systems with an input voltage range of 8-32 V and a maximum DC load of 150 A.
Can the undervoltage cut-off be adjusted?
Yes. The undervoltage cut-off point is set using DIP switches, so it can be matched to the installation.
Does it indicate battery status?
Yes. LED lights provide a clear read-out of the battery status.
