Description
The DC Master 12/12-6 Isolated is a DC-DC converter that provides a stable 13.6 V output from a 12 V battery system, supplying up to 6 A continuously. Because input and output are the same nominal voltage, it is used mainly to create a clean, separate 12 V supply rather than to change voltage, which is ideal for sensitive electronics or for separating circuits within a 12 V installation.
As an isolated model it provides full galvanic isolation between the input and output circuits. This makes it extra touch-proof and suppresses interference for sensitive equipment, and it can be used with negative or positive grounding. The converter also provides two minutes of extra capacity, delivering up to 8 A for short intervals when a brief power boost is needed.
The unit is stabilised, naturally cooled and rated to IP53. It is delivered complete with a mounting bracket, screws and fasteners for quick installation.
