Description

The DC Master 24/12-50 is a high-output non-isolated DC-DC converter that delivers a stable 13.6 V output from a 24 V battery system, supplying 50 A continuously to onboard 12 V equipment. It is built for installations where a substantial, regulated 12 V supply is needed alongside a 24 V system.

As a non-isolated model there is a direct electrical connection between the input and output. The converter provides two minutes of extra capacity, delivering up to 60 A for short intervals, and units can be fitted in parallel where more current is required. Output is stabilised at 13.6 V with an efficiency of more than 80 percent.

The unit uses forced cooling, connects via M6 bolts and carries an IP20 protection rating, so it should be mounted in a dry, protected location with adequate ventilation. This is a legacy model that has been discontinued by Mastervolt.

Is the DC Master 24/12-50 isolated?
No. This is a non-isolated model, so there is a direct electrical connection between the 24 V input and the 12 V output. If you need galvanic isolation between input and output, choose an isolated DC Master model instead.
How much current can it supply?
It delivers 50 A continuously at a stabilised 13.6 V, and up to 60 A peak for intervals of up to two minutes at 30 degrees C.
