Description

The Mastervolt Mass Sine 24/5000 is a heavy-duty professional pure sine wave inverter that converts 24 V battery power into a clean 230 V 50 Hz supply. As the flagship of the Mass series proven in extreme conditions for 30 years, it delivers continuous, reliable output for the most demanding professional and semi-professional installations.

Silent high-frequency switch mode technology pairs with a formidable 9000 W peak capacity, so even the heaviest inductive and electrical loads start without difficulty. An automatic economy mode and 92 per cent efficiency conserve battery energy, while galvanic isolation provides a safe, professional AC output. Choosing an independent inverter leaves you free to size your own battery charging and solar equipment.

The Mass Sine is MasterBus compatible through an Inverter Interface or AC Power Analyser, integrating with an EasyView display or the C4-RI remote panel, and its robust connections support a fast, secure installation in built-in and mobile systems.

What continuous power does the Mass Sine 24/5000 deliver?
It delivers 4000 W continuous at 40 C with a cos phi of 1, a 30-minute (P30) rating of 5000 W, and a very high peak load capacity of 9000 W for starting heavy inductive loads.
What battery and cabling does it require?
The inverter runs from a 24 V battery bank with a recommended capacity above 400 Ah. Mastervolt specifies a 250 A single (or 2x 125 A) slow-blow DC fuse and a minimum cable size of 2x 70 mm².
Can it be monitored and controlled remotely?
Yes. It is MasterBus compatible using a MasterBus Inverter Interface or AC Power Analyser for control via an EasyView display, and it can be switched on and off with the C4-RI remote control panel.
Does it produce a clean sine wave?
Yes. The Mass Sine produces a true (pure) sine wave with typical harmonic distortion below 5 per cent, protecting sensitive connected equipment from failures and damage.
How efficient is it when idle?
Peak efficiency is 92 per cent. In energy saving mode the no-load consumption falls to just 50 mA (1.2 W), helping to extend battery runtime.
