Description

The Mastervolt Mass Sine 24/800 is a professional-grade pure sine wave inverter that converts 24 V battery power into a clean 230 V 50 Hz supply. Built for the toughest tasks, the Mass series has been proving its value in extreme conditions for 30 years, delivering reliable round-the-clock output when it matters most.

High-frequency switch mode technology eliminates the humming and zooming associated with lesser inverters, while a high peak capacity of 1600 W lets it start demanding loads such as power tools with ease. The automatic economy mode and 92 per cent efficiency extend battery runtime, and galvanic isolation keeps the AC output safe and professional.

The Mass Sine is MasterBus compatible via an Inverter Interface or AC Power Analyser, so it can be monitored and controlled from an EasyView display or the C4-RI remote panel. Robust, professional connections make installation in mobile and built-in applications fast and secure.

What continuous power does the Mass Sine 24/800 deliver?
It delivers 650 W of continuous power at 40 C with a cos phi of 1, a 30-minute (P30) rating of 800 W, and a peak load capacity of 1600 W for starting heavy or inductive loads.
What battery does it need?
The inverter runs from a 24 V battery bank. Mastervolt recommends a battery capacity greater than 50 Ah, a minimum 63 A slow-blow DC fuse and a minimum cable size of 16 mm².
Can the Mass Sine 24/800 be monitored remotely?
Yes. It is MasterBus compatible using a MasterBus Inverter Interface or AC Power Analyser, allowing control from an EasyView display, and it can also be switched on and off with the C4-RI remote control panel.
Does it produce a clean sine wave?
Yes. The Mass Sine produces a true (pure) sine wave with typical harmonic distortion below 5 per cent, preventing failures and damage to sensitive connected equipment.
How efficient is the inverter and does it save power when idle?
Peak efficiency is 92 per cent. In energy saving mode the no-load consumption drops to just 35 mA (0.8 W), helping to extend battery runtime.
