Description

The Mastervolt Shore Fix is a combined fuse and earth leakage circuit breaker (RCD) that forms the basic safety device between the shore power plug and the onboard 230 V system. It continuously monitors the forward and return current, and if the two are no longer equal, for example because of a leakage to earth, the Shore Fix trips instantly to prevent a dangerous situation.

Rated at 16 A with 30 mA sensitivity and a B-characteristic breaker, it offers both residual-current and overcurrent protection in a single compact unit. With a high IP55 protection degree and a 4500 A short-circuit capacity, it is well suited to the demanding marine environment and is certified to CE and KEMA.

What does the Shore Fix do?
The Shore Fix is a combined fuse and earth leakage circuit breaker. It monitors the forward and return current of the 230 V supply and trips if they become unequal, for example because of a current leakage to earth, protecting the onboard installation against dangerous situations.
What is the current rating and sensitivity?
It is rated at 16 A nominal current output with a residual-current sensitivity of 30 mA.
Where is the Shore Fix installed?
It is fitted as the basic fuse between the shore power AC plug and the onboard 230 V system. Connections accept conductors up to 16 mm2.
Is it suitable for the marine environment?
Yes. It has a high IP55 protection degree, a 4500 A short-circuit capacity and is certified to CE and KEMA.
