Description
The Soft Start 13 kW is an automatic switch that suppresses the inrush current drawn by an isolation transformer at the moment it connects to the grid. By limiting this initial surge it prevents the shore power fuse or circuit breaker from tripping when the transformer is switched on.
It is rated for 230 V systems and suits transformers with a power demand between 2500 and 13,000 W, making it a practical accessory for larger isolation transformer installations.
