Description
The Mastervolt Type D battery terminal cover (black) is an isolation cover that fits over a Type D battery terminal to protect and insulate the battery pole. Covering and isolating the battery poles is an important safety measure, helping to prevent sparks and short circuiting on your battery bank.
The black cover is conventionally used to identify the negative pole, making the installation clearer and safer to work on. It is designed to be used together with the matching Type D battery terminal as part of a complete, safe Mastervolt battery connection for 12V, 24V and 48V systems.
