Description

The Victron Phoenix Inverter 12/3000 is a professional-grade pure sine wave inverter that turns 12V battery power into clean 120V, 60Hz mains electricity. Built around Victron's proven SinusMax hybrid high-frequency design, it stays compact and light while delivering a true sine wave to demanding loads such as refrigeration compressors, electric motors and power tools.

Rated at 3000VA with 2400W of continuous output at 25C and a 6000W peak, this 120V model is ideally suited to North American and 60Hz marine and off-grid installations. Very high start-up power lets it cope with difficult inductive loads that defeat conventional high-frequency inverters.

A VE.Bus communication port allows parallel, three-phase and split-phase operation, plus remote monitoring and system integration through a GX device such as the Cerbo GX. Configuration via VictronConnect or VEConfigure gives full control over output, alarm and relay behaviour, while a built-in programmable relay can signal alarms or start a generator.

Does this inverter produce a pure sine wave?
Yes. The Phoenix Inverter 12/3000 delivers a true pure sine wave output, so it runs sensitive electronics, motors and inductive loads cleanly and quietly.
What output voltage and frequency does it provide?
This is the 120V model. It supplies 120 VAC at 60 Hz, making it suited to North American and 60Hz appliances. The output can be adjusted to 240 V using VictronConnect or VEConfigure.
Can I run several units together for more power?
Yes. The VE.Bus port allows up to six units to operate in parallel, and three-phase or split-phase configurations are also supported for larger systems.
How much surge power does it deliver for starting motors?
It provides a peak of 6000 W. Victron's SinusMax design gives very high start-up power, so it copes with difficult loads such as refrigeration compressors and electric motors.
How do I monitor and configure the inverter?
Connect an MK3-USB interface for VEConfigure on a PC, or link it to a GX device such as the Cerbo GX for monitoring through the VRM portal. Output, alarm and relay settings are all adjustable.
What warranty does it carry?
It is covered by Victron Energy's standard 5-year warranty with worldwide support.
