Description

The Victron Phoenix Inverter 48/375 VE.Direct (120V) converts 48V battery power into a clean 120V, 60 Hz pure sine wave AC supply, ideal for running sensitive electronics aboard a boat or in an off-grid installation in 120V territories. Built around a proven full-bridge and toroidal transformer topology, it delivers dependable power with the low standby draw that suits long unattended use.

An integrated VE.Direct port lets you monitor and configure the inverter from a phone, tablet or computer using a VE.Direct to USB cable or a Bluetooth Smart dongle (sold separately). ECO mode drops the unit into standby when no significant load is present, cutting idle consumption to conserve the battery bank. This model fits a NEMA 5-15R outlet with GFCI protection and is UL 458 listed, and includes a two-pole remote on/off connector and high start-up power for demanding loads.

What output does this model produce?
This is the 120V version, delivering a clean 120 VAC, 60 Hz pure sine wave through a NEMA 5-15R outlet with GFCI protection. It is intended for 120V territories rather than 230V regions.
Is it safety listed for North America?
Yes. As a GFCI-equipped 120V unit it is UL 458 listed, in addition to meeting the EN-IEC 60335-1 and EN-IEC 62109-1 standards.
What battery voltage does it need?
It runs from a 48V battery bank and operates across an input range of 36.8 to 62.0 V, shutting down at 37.2 V to protect the batteries from over-discharge.
How do I monitor or configure it?
The built-in VE.Direct port connects to a computer with a VE.Direct to USB cable, or to a phone or tablet using a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle. Both accessories are sold separately. You can set alarm levels, cut-off thresholds, output voltage and ECO mode behaviour.
What is ECO mode?
ECO mode drops the inverter into standby when the load falls below a set level (minimum 15 W), reducing idle consumption to around 2.6 W. It briefly wakes at an adjustable interval to check for load, then stays on once a load is detected.
Can I switch it on and off remotely?
Yes. A remote on/off switch can be wired to the two-pole connector, or between battery positive and the left-hand contact of that connector.
