It communicates with the Balmar SG200 Battery Monitor over the SmartLink network, letting you view real-time charging stage, target versus actual voltage and field output percentage on the SG200 colour display, and when the optional Bluetooth gateway is added, full basic and advanced programming is available from the Balmar smartphone app. Used with the optional MC-TS-A alternator and MC-TS-B battery temperature sensors, the regulator monitors ambient temperature and reduces or discontinues charging if a catastrophic over-temperature condition occurs.
