Description
The Victron RS485 to USB interface provides an RS485 connection over USB, most commonly used to link a Victron Energy Meter (such as an ET112, ET340 or EM24) to a GX device. This is the 5 metre version, giving extra reach when the meter and GX device are further apart.
The interface uses the Data+ and Data- pair for communication and is powered over USB, so no separate supply is needed. If the run needs to be longer still, the cable can be extended with a suitable shielded twisted pair. It is a genuine Victron cabled interface for reliable energy-meter integration.
