Description
The CANUSB interface connects a Victron VE.Can network to a computer via USB. It lets a PC communicate directly with VE.Can equipment, which is useful for configuration, diagnostics and firmware work using Victron software tools.
Each CANUSB is supplied with two VE.Can RJ45 bus terminators, so the connection point can be correctly terminated. Drivers and software are downloaded from the Victron website, and the driver should be installed before the adapter is first plugged in. A USB extension cable should not be used between the adapter and the computer.
