Description
The VE.Direct to VE.Can interface connects a Victron VE.Direct device to a VE.Can network. It was designed to bring a BMV-700 or BMV-702 battery monitor onto the VE.Can bus so its readings could be shared with other VE.Can equipment.
This is a legacy accessory and is now deprecated. It only translates data from the BMV-700 and BMV-702, and does not work with the BMV-712, MPPT solar chargers or VE.Direct inverters. For connecting VE.Direct devices to a modern GX system, Victron recommends the VE.Direct to USB interface instead. This adapter remains available only for servicing existing installations that already use it.
