Description
The Victron Blue Smart IP22 12/15 (3) is a compact 12 volt, 15 amp mains battery charger with three independent isolated outputs, ideal for charging a starter, service and bow thruster battery from a single unit aboard boats and campervans. Bluetooth is built in, so you can monitor voltage and current, adjust settings and update the firmware from the VictronConnect app on your phone.
An adaptive six stage charge algorithm (test, bulk, absorption, recondition, float and storage) manages charging automatically, tailoring it to how the battery is used and dropping into a low maintenance storage mode after 24 hours of inactivity to reduce gassing and prolong battery life. It charges lead acid and lithium (Li-ion) batteries alike and will even recover a battery discharged to zero volts.
With up to 93 percent efficiency the unit runs cool and quiet, and the NIGHT and LOW settings halve the output for silent, low heat charging when required. VE.Smart Networking lets it share battery voltage, temperature and current data with other Victron devices and synchronise with up to ten chargers for larger banks.
