Description
The Blue Smart IP67 Charger is a professional, fully sealed battery charger built for the harshest environments. Its cast aluminium case and resin-encapsulated electronics make it waterproof, shockproof and ignition protected, so water, oil and dirt will not damage it, on the boat, the bench or the vehicle.
Built-in Bluetooth lets you monitor voltage and current, change settings and update firmware from the free VictronConnect app on a phone, tablet or laptop. A microprocessor-controlled adaptive 5-stage charge algorithm optimises every charge cycle, while storage mode reduces maintenance and ageing when the battery is left connected. The charger also recovers deeply discharged batteries from zero volts and can run as a DC power supply.
This 24 V, 12 A single-output model is the 230 V variant, supplied with a UK BS 1363 plug and rated for a 180-265 VAC supply. With efficiency up to 96% and under 1 W consumption once charged, it wastes far less energy as heat than conventional chargers.

Which batteries can this charger be used with?
It charges 24 V lead-acid batteries (flooded, AGM and gel) using a 5-stage adaptive algorithm, and lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries using a bulk, absorption and float algorithm. Battery type is selected as Normal, High or Li-ion in the VictronConnect app.
Is the IP67 charger really waterproof?
Yes. The casing is cast aluminium and the electronics are moulded in resin, giving an IP67 rating so water, oil and dirt will not damage it. It is also shockproof and ignition protected.
How do I monitor and configure the charger?
Bluetooth is built in. The free VictronConnect app for phone, tablet or laptop lets you read voltage and current, change settings and update firmware wirelessly.
Can it recover a fully discharged battery?
Yes. It will initiate charging even if the battery has been discharged to zero volts, and it can reconnect to a fully discharged Li-ion battery that has an internal disconnect function.
What AC supply does this version need?
This is the 230 V version with a UK plug. It accepts a 180-265 VAC, 45-65 Hz supply and is fitted with a 1.5 m cable and a UK BS 1363 plug.
