Description
The Victron BlueSolar MPPT 150/35 is a solar charge controller for 12V, 24V and 48V systems, accepting a solar array of up to 150V open circuit and delivering up to 35A of charge current. The high PV voltage allows longer panel strings and thinner cable runs, while ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking secures the best yield in changing light. System voltage from 12V to 48V is detected automatically (a software tool is used to select 36V).
Charging follows a multi-stage adaptive algorithm with eight pre-programmed profiles on a rotary switch, and an internal temperature sensor compensates the charge voltage. As a BlueSolar model it has no Bluetooth; setup and monitoring are through the VE.Direct port using a GX device or the optional VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle.
