Description
The Victron BlueSolar MPPT 150/45 is a solar charge controller for 12V, 24V and 48V systems, accepting a solar array of up to 150V open circuit and delivering up to 45A of charge current. This version has MC4 PV connectors for quick, secure connection to solar strings. The high PV voltage supports longer panel strings and thinner cabling, and ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking maximises the yield in changing light.
System voltage from 12V to 48V is detected automatically (36V is set with the software tool), and a multi-stage adaptive charge algorithm with eight pre-programmed profiles keeps batteries correctly charged. As a BlueSolar model it has no Bluetooth; setup and monitoring are through the VE.Direct port using a GX device or the optional VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle.
