Description
The Victron BlueSolar MPPT 150/70 is a high-current solar charge controller for 12V, 24V and 48V systems, accepting a solar array of up to 150V open circuit and delivering up to 70A of charge current. This version has MC4 PV connectors for quick, secure connection to solar strings. The high PV input voltage supports longer strings and thinner cabling, and ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking with advanced shading detection maximises the yield in variable conditions.
System voltage is detected automatically from 12V to 48V (36V is set with the software tool). A multi-stage adaptive charge algorithm with eight pre-programmed profiles manages charging, and the internal temperature sensor compensates the charge voltage. As a BlueSolar model there is no built-in Bluetooth; setup and monitoring are through the VE.Direct port using a GX device or the optional VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle.
