Description

The Cerbo GX MK2 is the system controller at the heart of a Victron installation. It gathers data from the connected inverters, chargers, MPPT solar controllers, battery monitors and tank senders, then presents the whole system in one place and logs it to the free VRM online portal for remote monitoring.

This is the second-generation Cerbo, with faster hardware and two independent VE.Can ports. Connections cover three VE.Direct ports, VE.Bus, Ethernet and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, plus four resistive tank inputs, four temperature inputs, four digital inputs and two programmable relays for tasks such as generator start and stop or alarm signalling. Bluetooth is provided to simplify the initial network setup.

The Cerbo GX MK2 has no screen of its own. Add a GX Touch 50 or GX Touch 70 for a local display at the helm, or view and control the system through VRM, a web browser or a marine MFD. The unit mounts on a wall or, with the separate adapter, on a 35 mm DIN rail.

Does the Cerbo GX MK2 have a screen?
No. The Cerbo GX MK2 is a controller without its own display. Add a GX Touch 50 or GX Touch 70 for a local touchscreen, or monitor the system through the VRM portal, a web browser or a connected marine MFD.
What is the difference between the Cerbo GX MK2 and the original Cerbo GX?
The MK2 is the second generation of the Cerbo, with faster hardware and two independent VE.Can ports rather than the single VE.Can interface of the original. Both serve the same role as the central GX controller.
What supply voltage does the Cerbo GX MK2 need?
It runs on a wide input of 8 to 70 VDC, so it suits 12 V, 24 V and 48 V systems.
Can I monitor my system remotely with the Cerbo GX MK2?
Yes. When connected to the internet over Ethernet or Wi-Fi, the Cerbo GX logs all data to the free VRM online portal, where the system can be viewed and controlled from anywhere.
