Description
The Victron EasySolar 12/1600/70 is an all-in-one solar power solution that combines a BlueSolar MPPT 100/50 charge controller, a MultiPlus Compact 12/1600/70 inverter/charger and AC distribution in a single enclosure. Built around a 12 V battery bank, it is designed for quick installation with a minimum of wiring on cabins, boats and small off-grid systems.
The inverter delivers 1600 VA of clean 230 VAC pure sine wave power, while the batteries can be charged from solar through the 50 A MPPT controller and from the grid or a generator through the 70 A charger. Unique PowerAssist technology protects the shore or generator supply from being overloaded by adding inverter power from the battery when it is needed.
Integrated AC distribution includes a 30 mA residual current device and four outputs protected by two 10 A and two 16 A circuit breakers, one of which is live only when AC input is present. Up to three strings of PV panels connect through MC4 connectors, and the system can be configured for a range of grid-interactive or stand-alone applications.
