The VE.Can connection is a direct link to the GX device that works independently of any network, while Ethernet suits installations where a network already reaches the board. It works out of the box as a grid meter for most systems, with configuration through VictronConnect needed only to change its role or set a fixed IP address.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA high 100 ms refresh rate gives accurate power, grid-import and feed-in figures for ESS systems, and the meter reports a full set of electrical parameters including line-to-neutral and line-to-line voltage, power factor, phase sequence and protective-earth voltages. A configurable energy registration method (vector, arithmetic or absolute) makes it suitable across different regional requirements.
