Description
The Victron Orion 12/24-10 is a non-isolated DC-DC converter that steps a 12V supply up to a 24V output, delivering up to 10A (240W continuous). The output is adjustable with a potentiometer over a 20 to 30V range, with a factory setting of 26.4V, so it can power 24V equipment from a 12V system or buffer-charge a 24V battery from a 12V source.
Efficiency is around 95 percent and the converter holds a stable output across a 9 to 18V input. It is fanless and draws a low off-load current. Adjustable-output models in this range can also be connected in parallel, up to five units, to increase the available output current.
Connections are made with 6.3 mm Faston tabs and the supply includes insulated female crimp terminals, allowing quick installation without special tools.
