Description

The Victron Phoenix Inverter Compact 24/1600 is a pure sine wave inverter that converts 24V battery power into clean 230V, 50Hz mains electricity in a notably small and light enclosure. Built for professional duty around Victron's SinusMax hybrid design, it supplies a true sine wave to a wide range of loads while taking up minimal space, which makes it a popular choice for boats, vans and compact off-grid installations.

It is rated at 1600VA with 1300W of continuous output at 25C and a 3000W peak. High start-up power lets it handle demanding loads such as small motors, pumps and power tools. To simplify installation, 1.5 metre battery cables are included and the AC output uses a plug-in G-ST18i connector.

A VE.Bus communication port allows parallel and three-phase operation as well as remote monitoring and configuration through VictronConnect, VEConfigure and a GX device such as the Cerbo GX. The inverter includes comprehensive protection and Victron's standard 5-year warranty.

Does this inverter produce a pure sine wave?
Yes. The Phoenix Inverter Compact 24/1600 delivers a true pure sine wave output, so it runs sensitive electronics, motors and inductive loads cleanly and quietly.
What makes the Compact version different?
The Compact range packs the same SinusMax inverter technology into a smaller, lighter enclosure and ships with 1.5 metre battery cables and a plug-in G-ST18i AC connector, so it installs quickly in tight spaces such as boats and vans.
How much continuous and peak power does it deliver?
It is rated at 1600VA, with 1300W of continuous output at 25C and a 3000W peak for starting demanding loads such as small motors and pumps.
What output voltage and frequency does it provide?
It supplies 230 VAC at 50 Hz. Both the output voltage and frequency can be adjusted using VictronConnect or VEConfigure.
Can it be monitored and configured remotely?
Yes. The VE.Bus port connects to a GX device such as the Cerbo GX for monitoring through the VRM portal, and to a PC via an MK3-USB interface for configuration with VEConfigure.
What warranty does it carry?
It is covered by Victron Energy's standard 5-year warranty with worldwide support.
