Description

The Victron Phoenix Inverter 24/800 VE.Direct converts 24V battery power into a clean 230V AC supply, ready to run the everyday mains appliances on a boat, motorhome or off-grid installation. Built on Victron's proven full-bridge and toroidal-transformer platform, it delivers a stable, high-quality pure sine wave with the surge capacity needed to start demanding loads such as power tools, pumps and LED or halogen lighting.

This version is fitted with an IEC-320 outlet (a male mains plug is included), making it easy to connect appliances and extension leads. A VE.Direct communication port allows it to be configured and monitored from a computer, or from a phone or tablet using the optional VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle and the free VictronConnect app, where output voltage, frequency, ECO mode and low-voltage cut-off can all be adjusted.

ECO mode keeps standby consumption low when no load is present, and like all Victron inverters it is short-circuit proof and protected against overload and overheating. It is backed by a 5-year warranty.

Does this inverter produce a pure sine wave?
Yes. The Phoenix Inverter VE.Direct delivers a clean pure sine wave, so it runs sensitive electronics, motors and audio equipment safely and quietly, just like mains power.
What outlet does the IEC version use?
This version has an IEC-320 outlet and is supplied with a male mains plug, so you can connect appliances or an extension lead directly to the inverter.
Can I monitor it with Bluetooth?
Yes, with the optional VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle. Unlike the Inverter Smart range, Bluetooth is not built in, but the VE.Direct port lets you add wireless or wired monitoring through the VictronConnect app.
What can I run from an 800VA inverter?
It supplies up to 650W continuously at 25°C, enough for typical plug-in appliances such as laptops, TVs, lighting and small power tools. The 1500W peak rating helps start loads with a high inrush current.
What is ECO mode?
In ECO mode the inverter drops to standby when the load falls below a preset level (minimum load 15W), then briefly wakes every few seconds to check for demand. This greatly reduces power draw when appliances are switched off.
What warranty does it carry?
Victron provides a standard 5-year warranty on the Phoenix Inverter VE.Direct, backed by worldwide support.
