Description
The Victron MultiPlus Compact 12/1200/50 combines a pure sine wave inverter and a 50A mains battery charger in one unit, with an automatic transfer switch built in. On shore power it charges the batteries and passes mains through to your sockets; when the supply is removed it inverts the 12V battery bank back to clean 230V, switching over fast enough to keep equipment running without interruption.
This Hudson Marine package supplies the MultiPlus ready-fitted with a one-metre DEFA extension cable, so it integrates directly into a DEFA based shore-power or interior-heater installation with no extra wiring. It delivers 1000W continuous (1200VA) with a 2400W surge, a powerful adaptive four-stage charger that maintains the house battery and trickle-charges a starter battery, and a VE.Bus port for remote control and monitoring. PowerControl and PowerAssist let it share or boost a limited shore supply.
