Description
The Victron MultiPlus Compact 12/500/20 combines a pure sine wave inverter and a 20A mains battery charger in one compact unit, with an automatic transfer switch built in. On shore power it charges the batteries and passes mains through to your sockets; once disconnected it inverts the 12V battery bank back to clean 230V, switching over fast enough to keep equipment running without interruption.
This Hudson Marine package supplies the MultiPlus ready-fitted with a one-metre DEFA extension cable, so it slots straight into a DEFA based shore-power or interior-heater installation with no extra wiring. It delivers 430W continuous (500VA) with a 900W surge, an adaptive four-stage charger that looks after the house battery and trickle-charges a starter battery, and a VE.Bus port for remote control and monitoring.
