The Victron MultiPlus Compact 24/2000/50 combines a 2000 VA pure sine wave inverter, a 50 A adaptive battery charger and a high-speed AC transfer switch in one compact metal enclosure. Running from a 24 V battery bank, it is well suited to larger marine, mobile and off-grid systems that demand clean mains-quality power alongside strong battery charging.
If shore or generator power is lost, the transfer switch hands the load to the inverter in less than 20 milliseconds, keeping computers and sensitive electronics running without a break. PowerControl caps the current drawn from a limited shore or generator supply, while PowerAssist supplements that supply with battery power during demand peaks, then recharges once the load eases.
Adaptive multi-stage charging with a temperature sensor looks after the house bank, and a separate trickle output keeps a starter battery charged. DIP switches allow quick setup, and up to six units can be paralleled or arranged for three-phase output as a system grows.
