Description
The Victron MultiPlus Compact 12/1200/50 combines a 1200 VA pure sine wave inverter, a 50 A adaptive battery charger and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact metal enclosure. It is a practical choice for marine, mobile and off-grid systems that need clean mains-quality power and capable charging from one unit.
When shore or generator power drops out, the transfer switch passes the load to the inverter in less than 20 milliseconds, so computers and sensitive equipment keep running uninterrupted. PowerControl limits the current drawn from a constrained shore or generator supply, and PowerAssist adds battery power during short peaks before recharging the bank.
Adaptive multi-stage charging with a temperature sensor cares for the house battery, and a separate trickle output keeps a starter battery topped up. DIP switches make setup quick, and several units can be paralleled or configured for three-phase output as a system expands.
