Description
The Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120 brings together a 3000 VA pure sine wave inverter, a powerful 120 A adaptive battery charger and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single enclosure. It is built for demanding marine, mobile and off-grid systems that need substantial mains-quality power together with fast battery charging from one unit.
When shore or generator power is lost, the main output transfers to the inverter in less than 20 milliseconds, so computers and sensitive electronics keep running uninterrupted. PowerControl caps the current drawn from a limited shore or generator supply, while PowerAssist supplements that supply with battery power during peaks, then recharges once demand falls. A programmable auxiliary output can shed loads that should not drain the battery when no AC is present.
Adaptive multi-stage charging with a temperature sensor cares for the house bank, and a separate trickle output keeps a starter battery topped up. Up to six units can be paralleled, or three configured for three-phase output, and the system can be monitored and controlled with a GX device, control panel or the VictronConnect app.
