Description
The Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120 is a combined 3000 VA pure sine wave inverter, 120 A adaptive battery charger and high-speed AC transfer switch in one enclosure, designed for marine, mobile and off-grid systems that demand plenty of mains-quality power and rapid recharging from a single 12 V unit.
On loss of shore or generator power the main output switches to the inverter in under 20 milliseconds, keeping sensitive electronics running without a glitch. Victron PowerControl limits how much current is taken from a small shore or generator supply, and PowerAssist tops that supply up from the battery during short, heavy loads before recharging the bank afterwards. A programmable auxiliary output lets non-essential loads drop away when no AC source is available.
Adaptive charging with a battery temperature sensor maintains the house bank, with a trickle output for a starter battery. The unit is parallel and three-phase capable, and integrates with VictronConnect, a Multi Control panel or a GX device for monitoring and configuration.
