Description
The Victron MultiPlus Compact 24/1200/25 combines a 1200 VA pure sine wave inverter, a 25 A adaptive battery charger and a high-speed AC transfer switch in one compact metal enclosure. Running from a 24 V battery bank, it suits marine, mobile and off-grid systems that need clean mains-quality power and reliable charging from a single unit.
When shore or generator power drops out, the transfer switch passes the load to the inverter in less than 20 milliseconds, so computers and sensitive equipment keep running. PowerControl limits the current drawn from a constrained shore or generator supply, and PowerAssist briefly adds battery power to cover demand peaks before recharging the bank.
Adaptive multi-stage charging with a temperature sensor cares for the house battery, and a separate trickle output keeps a starter battery topped up. DIP switches make setup quick, and units can be paralleled or configured for three-phase output as a system expands.
