Description
The Victron MultiPlus Compact 24/800/16 combines an 800 VA pure sine wave inverter, a 16 A adaptive battery charger and a high-speed AC transfer switch in one compact metal enclosure. Running from a 24 V battery bank, it suits smaller marine, mobile and off-grid systems that need clean mains-quality power and dependable charging from a single unit.
When shore or generator power is lost, the transfer switch passes the load to the inverter in less than 20 milliseconds, so computers and sensitive electronics keep running. PowerControl caps the current drawn from a limited shore or generator supply, and PowerAssist adds battery power during short peaks before recharging the bank.
Adaptive multi-stage charging with a temperature sensor protects the house battery, and a separate trickle output keeps a starter battery topped up. DIP switches make setup quick, and units can be paralleled or configured for three-phase output as a system grows.
