Description
The Victron MultiPlus 48/5000/70 is a high-power combination of a pure sine wave inverter, an adaptive battery charger and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single 48 V unit. The main output takes over in under 20 milliseconds when shore or generator power is lost, so connected electronics continue running without disruption.
Built for demanding marine, mobile and off-grid 48 V installations, it delivers 5000 VA of clean 230 V output and recharges the battery bank with Victron's four-stage adaptive charge process. PowerControl and PowerAssist manage a limited shore or generator supply, while VE.Bus, a programmable relay and a 50 A auxiliary output support integration into large systems.
Up to six units can be paralleled for substantial output, and three can be configured for three-phase. This model is part of Victron's established MultiPlus range and remains a robust choice for heavy 48 V power requirements.
