Description
The Victron RS485 to Zigbee converter provides a wireless link in place of a cabled RS485 connection, most commonly used to connect a Victron Energy Meter to a GX device without running a data cable between them. It pairs with a matching Zigbee to USB converter at the GX end to form the wireless bridge.
This RS485-side converter connects to the energy meter and requires a 12V DC supply. It is a useful option where the meter and the GX device are in different locations or where cabling between them would be difficult, keeping meter data flowing into the system monitoring over the air.
