Description
The Victron Smart BatteryProtect 48V 100A disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before it is completely discharged, protecting the bank from damaging deep discharge on 48V systems. It can also double as a system on/off switch, and suits larger marine, off-grid and industrial installations that need a programmable low-voltage load disconnect.
Built-in Bluetooth lets you set any required engage and disengage levels from the VictronConnect app, or you can select one of nine predefined levels with the programming pin. Instant Readout shows key status, warnings and alarms in the app without pairing, and Bluetooth can be disabled if preferred. A dedicated Li-ion mode allows control by a VE.Bus BMS, and the unit can act as a charge interrupter ahead of a lithium battery.
Solid-state MOSFET switching makes the Smart BatteryProtect ignition proof, with no relays and no sparks. Delayed alarm, load-disconnect and reconnect timing avoids nuisance tripping during brief voltage dips.
