Description
The Smart Battery Sense is a wireless voltage and temperature sensor for Victron MPPT solar charge controllers. Fitted to the battery bank terminals, it sends accurate readings to one or more compatible chargers over the VE.Smart Network, a low-power Bluetooth link, so each charger works from the true battery voltage rather than its own output.
Measuring at the terminals removes the error caused by voltage drop across the charging cables, which keeps the charge voltage correct and supports temperature-compensated charging for healthier batteries and longer service life. The unit ships with an inline fuse, pre-crimped eyelets and a self-adhesive backing for quick installation directly on the battery.
