Description
Deckman is B&G's tactical navigation software for Windows - the offshore routing and inshore race-tactics package that professional navigators build their strategy on. It takes live data from the boat's instrument system, can output back to it, overlays AIS traffic, draws laylines and start-line data, and runs optimum routing against weather files.
Version 9 added the AIS overlay and a rebuilt graphics engine with enhanced layline options including shaded limit sectors. The software is licensed by a C-MAP USB dongle, which must be plugged into the PC for Deckman to run.
