Description
Replacement cable for the Halcyon gyro-stabilised compass. It connects the HGSC sensor to the instrument system, carrying the heading and motion data that the processor needs for true wind, tide and performance calculations - so a chafed or corroded cable shows up as a compass that drops out or wanders.
Compass cables spend their lives in bilges, lockers and cable runs; renewing the cable is the first and cheapest thing to try before condemning the sensor. Genuine B&G part.
