Description
The EmpirBus Connect 50 packs the inputs, outputs and intelligence of a digital switching system into a single compact DC module, making it ideal for smaller installations or as a building block in larger ones. It connects directly to DC power on M6 bolts and to the network through a standard NMEA 2000 connector, controlling and monitoring up to 11 input channels and 20 output channels.
Inputs can be configured as digital or analogue, reading switches, sensors and frequency signals, while outputs drive loads directly with positive, half-bridge and window-wiper modes and per-channel software fusing. This model is equipped with galvanically isolated CAN-bus and RS485 serial ports with configurable protocols, allowing the Connect 50 to bridge to third-party equipment in addition to NMEA 2000. On-unit LED indication and touch control allow channels to be read and overridden directly, including manual override and fuse reset. Up to six Connect 50 units can share a single network.
