The Garmin GCV 10 is a networkable scanning sonar module that adds Garmin DownVu (ClearVu) and SideVu imaging to a compatible Garmin chartplotter system. It is supplied complete with a GT30-TM transom-mount transducer, delivering 500 W RMS power at 455/800 kHz with DownVu depths of 230 m and SideVu ranges of 150 m. This is a legacy product.
Description
The Garmin GCV 10 is a networkable scanning sonar module that brings Garmin DownVu (ClearVu) and SideVu imaging to a compatible networked Garmin chartplotter, revealing structure, cover and the contour of the bottom beneath and to each side of the boat. Operating at 455/800 kHz with 500 W RMS of transmit power, it reaches DownVu depths of up to 230 m and SideVu ranges of up to 150 m depending on conditions. This version is supplied complete with a GT30-TM 12-pin transom-mount transducer with temperature sensor and a 20 ft (6 m) cable. The module connects over the Garmin Marine Network and provides three network ports for sharing sonar across compatible chartplotters. Its housing is rated to IPX7 for service in the marine environment. This is a legacy product, superseded in the current range by the Ultra HD GCV 20.
