Description
The BP-282 is the internal Li-ion battery pack for the Icom IC-M25 floating marine VHF handheld. Rated 3.7 V and 1,500 mAh, it sits inside the radio body rather than clipping onto the outside, which is what lets the IC-M25 keep its slim profile and its buoyancy.
Because the pack is internal, fitting it is a service operation: the radio has to be opened and its waterproof seal re-made afterwards, so replacement is normally carried out by a dealer or service centre rather than by the user afloat.
Supplied as a genuine Icom replacement pack. The IC-M25 charges over its USB lead, so no separate drop-in charger is needed.
