Description

The IRIS090-4in1 is a compact, ultra-rugged bullet camera engineered for marine and vehicle surveillance. Crafted from marine grade 316L stainless steel, it shrugs off corrosion, vibration, impact and extreme weather, while its discreet form factor suits mounting in confined or exposed positions on RIBs, workboats, emergency vessels and off-shore craft.

The camera supports four analogue video formats: standard definition CVBS for legacy systems plus three analogue hi-def formats (AHD, HD-TVI and HD-CVI) offering up to 5MP resolution in real time. CVBS is accepted by any chart plotter with a composite input, while the hi-def formats connect directly to analogue-HD capable displays such as Garmin's 9000 series. The 2.8mm wide-angle lens delivers a broad 120 degree field of view.

With an IP68 rating the IRIS090 is fully protected against dust and submersion to 30m, and built-in 850nm infra-red LEDs provide clear imaging up to 15m in the dark. Video runs over conventional 75 ohm coaxial cable, so the camera can replace existing units without re-cabling, and it draws less than 350mA with the LEDs on.

What does 4-in-1 mean on the IRIS090?
The camera can be switched between four analogue video formats: standard CVBS composite plus three analogue hi-def formats (AHD, HD-TVI and HD-CVI). This lets it connect to legacy composite displays or to analogue-HD capable chart plotters for higher resolution.
Is the IRIS090 submersible?
Yes. It carries an IP68 rating and is fully protected against dust and water ingress at depths of up to 30m, making it suitable for through-hull and exposed installations.
Can the IRIS090 replace an existing camera without new cabling?
Yes. Video runs over conventional 75 ohm coaxial cable such as RG59, RG6 or URM70, even in the AHD formats, so it can upgrade an existing analogue camera using the cable already in place.
How is the camera set up?
A plug-in in-line joystick is supplied for navigating the on-screen menu to configure video format and image settings.
