Description
The Lowrance PD-WSU is a pod-style in-hull transducer operating at 83/200 kHz, supplied without a temperature sensor. It is bonded inside fibreglass hulls to read through the hull, providing dual-frequency sonar to legacy Lowrance displays without any external fittings or drilling below the waterline.
The 83 kHz channel gives a 52-degree beam and the 200 kHz channel a 22-degree beam from a single internal broadband ceramic. For current systems this transducer has been succeeded by the Lowrance HDI Skimmer and Active Imaging ranges.
