Description

The Ray60 is the full-function member of Raymarine's compact VHF line, adding a front Fistmic connection and a rear connector for an optional second station to the proven 25W Class D DSC platform. It transmits at 1W or 25W across all US, International and Canadian VHF marine bands, with a double-conversion superheterodyne receiver for crisp, reliable reception.

Built to IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof standards, the Ray60 stands up to the marine environment at the helm or flybridge. Add the optional RayMic handset (A80289) for a fully featured second station, with extension cables available up to 15 m. A SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 connection integrates the radio with a compatible Raymarine MFD for DSC distress alerting and shared GPS position, and the NMEA 0183 port plus audio (RCA) output keep installation flexible.

Does the Ray60 have AIS or GPS built in?
No. The Ray60 does not include an AIS receiver or an internal GPS. It receives position over SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 from a compatible source such as a Raymarine MFD. The Ray70 adds an AIS receiver and GPS, and the Ray63 adds GPS.
Can I add a second station to the Ray60?
Yes. The Ray60 has a rear connection for an optional second station. Add the RayMic wired handset (A80289), with extension cables available in 5 m, 10 m and 15 m lengths.
What transmit power does the Ray60 have?
The Ray60 transmits at a selectable 1 W or 25 W across all US, International and Canadian VHF marine bands.
Is the Ray60 waterproof?
Yes. The Ray60 is rated to IPX6 and IPX7. Raymarine does not warrant products subjected to commercial high-pressure washing.
How does the Ray60 connect to a chartplotter?
Via SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000, which shares DSC and position with a compatible Raymarine multifunction display. A NMEA 0183 connection and an audio (RCA) output are also provided.
